Citing the Journal Citation Reports

If you would like to include JCR content, either directly or as derived information, in a publication, please submit a copyright permissions request to wosg.support@clarivate.com with the following information:

• Full legal entity Name and Address of the Publisher;
• Title of the larger work (e.g., journal/book) in which the content is intended to be surfaced;
• Title of the sub-work (e.g., journal article/book chapter) in which the content is intended to be surfaced;
• Name(s) of all Author(s); and
• Screenshot(s) of all content intended to be included in the publication

When citing Journal Citation Reports, be sure to include the following information:

• If you want to call out a specific data point, the data year and the data point name (e.g., 2022 Journal Impact Factor)
• The full product name, Journal Citation Reports, in italics
• Name of the publisher, Clarivate
• Copyright year: The copyright year appears at the bottom of every page in JCR.
